Google Glass

Scrum master and developer

Objective: To create, with the help of the EE2 Google Glasses, create a tool to assist a blind golfer in playing more independently from his caddie.

In this project I worked with a team of other game developers and artists. We created voice-activated software that provides essential information for the blind golfer. We did field research to see what the type of commands where we should make. Orientation, the hole’s direction, weather conditions, and distance to the hole were the main commands. To make it more personable we also added a few joke functions, the golfer really enjoyed this addition.

This project was a valuable learning experience that helped me grow academically and personally. It taught me the magic of Scrum, including sprint-based client presentations and effective collaboration, which are now skills I love and feel confident using in any setting.
