Objective: To develop an immersive 3D video game showcasing a mundane day in a greener, CO2-neutral Netherlands in 2050. Based on the vision of the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency(PBL).
I collaborated with Dylan Kiesebrink, Newo Chandith, Luke Kauwenberg, Marijana Savic, and Luka van Opstal. Leveraging my game development background, I introduced the Scrum framework and tools like the MoSCoW method to streamline our process ensuring effective communication.

The game follows Helen and her son Bodie as they navigate the challenges of a sustainable future. Helen also struggles with budgeting her PlanetPoints- a currency representing personal CO2 allowances - forcing her to choose between expensive, eco-friendly solutions and more PlanetPoint-efficient options.

PlanetPoints provides a thought-provoking glimpse into the complexities of a possible future focusing on sustainability. From new laws on repairs to persisting inequality.

A play-through video of the game.
